Denis discovered his passion for skiing at the young age of 4. In his opinion, the resort of Avoriaz is very atypical. Skiing is freeing for Denis, it allows him to discover places he wouldn’t go to on foot. Before being an instructor, Denis competed at a local level and even participated in the instructor slalom challenge. Now, he competes in the instructor instructor challenge. 

Outside of instructorship, he works as a craftsman mason. He enjoys hikes and mountain biking.

Lastly, he said his favorite slopes are classified, but maybe if you ask nicely, he will tell you more.
