During 41 years as a ski instructor, Didier has learnt how to perfectly integrate his students in the mountain universe as well as how to transmit his passion.

His best teaching memories are when students turn into friends who are conscious of the mountain’s beauty. Since two and a half years old, Didier has been seen with skis at his feet every winter. He actually thinks skiing is part of his DNA. For a very long time, he has been coming to the resort of Avoriaz, first for the ski club then during his trainings. He competed in local and international races.

According to him, the ESF teaches people how to appreciate everything nature has to offer as well as how to take your time to really take everything in. When he is not in the resort, he works as an electrician. He enjoys the change of environment to avoid creating a routine. In addition, he also loves hiking and hunting with his dog. His passion for skiing took him around the world in countries such as Austria and Italy. He also worked as an instructor in Chile and Canada, these opportunities allowed him to experience other approaches and cultures. 

His favorite slopes are the Prodzats, Cuboré, Pisa and Les Creuses.
