With a 40-year experience, Hubert can adapt to any type of student. He understands what his students are looking for and make sure to take them to their goals. Hubert grew up in the resort of Morzine and learnt how to ski there when he was just 4 years old. Later, he participated in slalom races. He was several times in the top 3 of the instructors’ challenge. Nowadays, he rather enjoys lengthy ski tours and going off-piste.

Hubert strongly recommends choosing the ESF if you want to take ski lessons. For him, the school is a token of professionalism. Besides his passion, Hubert also works as a mason. Before settling in Avoriaz, he had the opportunity to teach skiing in New Zealand which gave him a beautiful personal and professional experience. 

His best teaching memories are when he finds a virgin slope so that his group can make the most of it. The slope he prefers is the Combe Machon.
