About
As soon as he learnt how to walk, Jean-Frederic’s parents taught him how to ski. Winter sports quickly became a passion, he thus joined the ski club of Avoriaz for ten years and competed in many regional and local races.
Instructor since 1994, Jean-Frederic has a very special link with the resort of Avoriaz. Indeed, his father is the origin of the resort of Avoriaz, he even created the ESF there and was the first director. With a father so involved in winter sports, Jean-Frederic had not other choice but to follow his father heritage. To him, the ESF represents conviviality, professionalism and excellent teaching. In addition to instructorship, he works as an electrician.
His other hobbies include ice hockey and motorcycling. He mentions having had the luck of skiing in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
The slope he prefers is the Bleu du lac, he also admits having a soft spot for the Grand Paradis area and the Didier Défago slope.
