Laurence has been working as a ski instructor for 39 years, enough for her to specialise in various practices!
Laurence discovered snow and skiing at 3 years old. She remembers staying outside to play until dark. Winter sports immediately became a pleasure for her, what she enjoys most are the landscapes, discovering new places and going up a mountain with her skis on her shoulders before being able to ski down the slope.
To try and improve her skills, she competed at a local level. Now, Laurence has spent 29 years in the resort of Avoriaz and has also taught 10 years in Passy Plaine-Joux. She sees herself as a calm, patient and attentive instructor. One of her best teaching memories is a day-long outing with a group of friends. For her, esf tries hard to represents a few key values such as pleasure, respect, discovery and knowledge.
Besides her dedication to winter sports, Laurence also owns a snack-bar on a beach. Moreover, her hobbies include horse-riding and cycling.
For Laurence, who’s gone heliskiing in Canada, the best slope in the resort is the Bleue d’Arare and the best spot is the snowcross of Crozats.
