Driven by his growing passion for skiing, Mathieu became an instructor to encourage young athletes to discover the sports he loves so much. He loves to see them evolve and to see the satisfaction they feel when they realize their progress. If he joined the ESF red jackets, it's because he appreciates its values. The local instructors for whom the slopes hold no secrets are for him the charm of the ESF. 

In Avoriaz, he particularly appreciates the Jean Vuarnet slope and its few secret spots. However, before venturing there, he also travelled to other European slopes such as those in Italy, Austria and Slovenia. 

When he's not skiing, Mathieu is a passionate craftsman in all things creative.
