Native of Morzine, Mélanie skied for the first time with her parents at 2 and a half years old, since then, she’s never stopped and has spent most of her winters in the resort. She even competed in local races. 

With her 20-year- experience and specialised in child ski lessons, Mélanie learnt how to adapt to young children in order to give the most efficient lesson possible. To do so, she chose playful approach combined with moments of calm, for adults, she uses clear explanations and patience. The ESF is a school that conveys values of professionalism, secure management, passion and mountain knowledge. 

Furthermore, when she is not teaching, Mélanie is a stay-at-home mom to make the most of her children. Her other passions include hikes, wakeboarding, paddling and home design. Lastly, her dream would be to go ski in Canada, Japan or Norway. 

Her favorite memories are each time a beginner discover snow for the first time and finish the week feeling autonomous on the slopes. According to her, the best place to teach is the skiing area of Super Morzine because it is always calm and sunny. If you want the best viewpoint, opt for the Crête d’Arare.
