He chose the resort of Avoriaz because of the proximity with his home as well as the plethora of possibilities the skiing area offers. The ESF is a token of skills that only employs the best instructors possible. Michel first put on skis when he was 10 years old thanks to a few neighbors. The landscape and the freedom it offers seduced him immediately. 

Besides being an instructor, he also works as a storekeeper. He loves windsurfing, fishing and cycling.

What he enjoys most about his job is when a young beginner refuses his help and succeeds on their own. Michel does not have a favorite slope, it depends on the weather of the day.
