At 2 years old and so early he cannot remember it, Thomas discovered this winter sport so appreciated by people. From 6 to 14 years old, he participated to alpine skiing competitions and won a few races. At around 15, he competed in the freestyle category. Besides being a ski instructor, he worked as a landscaper for 9 years and he now got his personal trainer diploma.
In over a decade of being a ski instructor, Thomas learned how to reassure, advise and give confidence to his students in order to make them progress. Thomas discovered the resort of Menuires thanks to his father who used to ski here back when he was a teenager. As for his job at the ESF, he chose this school for its professionalism and its ability to teach in a chill atmosphere at the same time.
In addition to being a great skier, Thomas admits liking all kind of extreme sports such as paragliding, speedriding, free falling, wakeboarding and diving!
His best teaching memories are from off-piste sessions in the early morning with great skiers but also moments of improvement for beginners. His favorite slope is the Combe du machon.
